Who knows.?

Who decides which road to take,
What choice make,
What type of love is fake
And who's heart to break?

Who knows what day is fine,
Why ten after nine,
Why stars should shine
And what love is mine?

Who said birds should fly,
Tears should come out of an eye and why,
Rain should fall from the sky
And mortals should die?

Tell me if you know someone now,
Because I need to know WHAT to do, WHY, WHEN and HOW?

Identity....

Help us find meaning
Where we ought to find it
For meaning is not to be found

In the pages of well-read books
Our identity is not to be found
In the rhetoric of conformists
And fanatics of alien philosophies
But in the pages of our unwritten testimony
Help us find meaning
In the words of a song we know
In the rythm of our African drums
That speak a language we know
Lend us a moment and a proverb
From the wise gone before us
To teach those that come after us
Help us find ourselves
In this vanity ocean
Help us find meaning
In who we really are...

I died alive....

For I have lived to the fullest, well I thought
In my reasoning I have reasoned
In my thinking I have thought
To any conclusion I never came
Then I realized I have died

Died nobody
But yet I am alive
My soul has been murdered
Even if I shoot my self dead
The bullet won’t penetrate as deep as the words that have
been uttered

I have been murdered by the most destructive weapon, words
Words that sink deeper than the spear would
That penetrates deeper that the bullet would
They have murdered me
They stole me and replaced me with a new identity
This is no longer me
For I have died murdered by you
By you and your hideous words

That Bird.....

That bird
she flies so wild and free
without a care in the world; her mind is free

no emotions, just instinct
precise actions, so distinct

food, shelter, her basic drive
to mate, to fight, to stay alive

that bird, that bird,
stress is not her worry and worry not a stress
one day at a time
she flies with a chime

tweet, tweet, there she goes
toot, toot, and she knows
tweet, tweet, how i mope
toot, toot, how i hope
tweet, tweet, that i to
toot, toot, will 1 day do
tweet, tweet will 1 day b
toot, toot, just as she
..........so wild and free

tweet.......there she goes

toot......now she's gone

.......that bird....that bird
so wild.....
so free....

Song to the fallen family..........

I see the lines on their faces
traces of depression
The question on their lips is
Where are the works of our hero’s past?
Or did our forefathers toil in vain?
Oppression and isolation has become
The order of the society
Sons and fathers are at loggerheads
Over who is providing the next meal.
While mothers and daughters are at the mercy of lustful men who dangles carrot at them

Oh what a shame, self worth is now a value for fools
Money! Money! you have become the silent king maker that brought dispute to a lovely institution created by God
And obscene activities that our conscience accepts as normal
But do we have to lie shallow and let our conscience suffer from greed?

Cristo Salvator Mundi....

I continue to hold on to him
Even when life looses its savoury flavour
When faced by rapacious and carnivorous foes when my life's in danger

I will continue to hold on to his garment to him who is my saviour
Cristo Salvator Mundi

I continue to hold on
To hold on to him full of life
in him I have hope
I continue to depend on him when the pressures of life take their toll on me
For In him I can cope
I will continue to hold onto the author of my faith because love is what he stands for
For he is Cristo Salvator Mundi

I will continue to hold on
To hold onto him when things don't work out
when am filled with so much sorrow
When life makes me sit on a cactus plant
when there seems to be no hope for tomorrow
I will continue to hold onto him because he is
Cristo Salvator Mundi

I will continue to hold on to him
Even when life seems so empty
When I constantly sin when the world rejects me
For in him I find guidance of the person I should be
Christ my redeemer
For he is Cristo Salvator Mundi

I will continue to hold on
To hold onto him whose love I can see
Whose love for me a sinner
I can't really understand, stretches far beyond the sea
He Constantly renews hs love for me a sinner and never condemns me
I will continue to sing praises before his throne
Cristo Salvator Mundi
For Christus vincit, Christus regnat, Christus imperat.
