I don’t need you anyway

I can see we are separating
Because you are no longer co operating
It might be sad but it’s not bad
If you haven’t heard, I’m not mad
I can live without you
You are not new
You have been my friend
But how you want to bring my end
You’ve made the mess
That’s why you are changing your face
Behaving like my master
Know this; I’m not your duster
If you can’t feed me any day
I don’t need you anyway.

Im guilty as charged.....

Most words get spilled, as my intent to be understood, clashes with revealing my purpose too well. Unecumbered by explanations of being an armchair critic. Im not brave, sometimes im shaken by fright, despairing.

That moral clarity, harsh as the winter winds, in smug sardonic sense of reality. The gnawing guilt conscience.

Fledging aspirations of feeding that homeless alcoholic fiend with loose change.

Im guilty, for i need my nicotine fix.

I exist as a gloomy monument to the ills society endeavored to quell.

A pall-bearer among sooth-sayers, whose truth has evolved into a bitter pill to swallow.

This deeds are justified blatant grudges.

Im guilty as charged, please cuff my pen.

Write no more, start revolutions,

perpetuating crimes against humanity.

One word at a time, stopping genocides.

I disgress, refraining to silence the need to vent this fury.

We cant, rise above our highest aspirations or

stoop lower than scum we disdain.

The Missing Piece......

I want a man
That accepts where he has been
And knows where he is going
A man who knows how to love
A man I can love
A being that completes me
One who knows my every thought
And before I even utter the words
Its as if he has already stolen them from my lips. From my heart.
To him, I need not explain my actions.
For he already understands.
Why I have, and why I have not.
I long to be with he,
The person that will love me for me
Some ask me if I've loved before
My answer is I am yet to love
I am yet to trust
And i am yet to be truly loved
I do not just seek a man, I seek a gentleman.

Mr Government Man

He appears on the scene a hero the enemy he has slain
Poisoned by power, contaminated by greed he becomes a villain
Confuses the masses with speech

great demagogue
Wows th nation young and old, christians in churches , jews and Muslims in mosques and synagogues
Corrupted by greed laces his pocket
Inflation,diseases and poverty sky rockets
To suit his taste
He tempers with the law he cuts he pastes
Those who object what he says government antagonists
Harangued by the central intelligence disappear without a trace
Possible threat to the state potential terrorists
A hindrance to this his political race
Election time comes vexes us with political manifestos
Fake promises of improving our lives in the ghetto
Things will never change they are all the same
They appear on the scene as heroes the enemy they have slain
Poisoned by power contaminated by greed they become villains.
That's Africas political tale.

All within a minute..

The torpedo was launched, resulting to a massacre
As detrimental as the catastrophe was, it was the beginning
Guided missiles arose, with which an explosion resulted.
Results were detrimental and fatal
The church building turned into a rubble

It all began with a small brawl
A rowdy group of boys assembled nearby the church
All done with a command from the master tyrant, the lil devil himself
The war had began

People fled the area
Cops and soldiers appeared from nowhere
Streams of blood flowing, with a putrid smell causing nausea

All within a minute.
Parties at loggerheads
Homesteads destroyed
People forced into refugees
President assassinated
Disaster stroke the country
THIS IS AFRICA FOR YOU!

The Mighty Helper.........

My personal assistant and decision maker
in whom I shall trust for as long as I breathe to tell it
forever bonded to my conscious self,
who is also under this majestic super power
a simulator without negativity.

My only means of choice analysis
not influenced by the so praised 'heart',
for even heart rate is controlled by you
the helper and sidekick who never tires nor falls to the sound of my call,
for he hears everythng instantly like the slightest rustle to the ears of a prowling wolf.

I am surely doomed without you
my entire system would crumble and collapse to nothing,
a walking stooge would be my namesake.
From head to toe they all praise your undoubting monarchical power,
for it is not forceful but is necessary.

A personal tribute to the mighty helper
for his undisputed domination in order maintenance
and limitless abilities in assistance,
a friend and great companion to be forever cherished.

Whose power is it? .....

I have failed
I have failed myself first
I have failed God
I have failed the world.
Tears trickle down
Why did I fail?
Does it mean I am not good enough?
I need to know why I failed
I have promised to shoot myself
I have promised to put a rope around my neck
I have promised to poison myself,
On event of my failure
But I can’t bring myself to do anything
Why did I fail?
No one would understand,
That I do not have the powers to win in my hand
They have the power
They run around with so much pride
Rubbing it in my very black face
Now they have done the worst
I surely next time won’t put my fate in another’s
This is because I haven’t failed
They have failed me
Liars, they blamed me for my failure
But it is them who do not like me
But still it comes down to the fact that I have failed
The fact that I’m a failure
But I shall try again and try again
But when I try again and try again
I shall remember my fate lies in the hand of God
And I would wave my success in their face
And yes I would succeed.
